Bohemian Paris

We adore this ultra-lively area with its ALTERNATIVE, and most of all genuine vibe. Funky shops abound, and a DIVERSE population of artists, designers and Chinese grocers…happily cohabit in the most up-and-coming neighborhood in Paris.
The local? Tatooed and carrying a vintage totebag.

Pont des Récollets

It's impossible for a French person, or a cinephile, to see the Pont des Récollets without thinking of the famous scenes of Arletty and Louis Jouvet in the 1938 film by Marcel Carné, Hôtel du Nord. This little archway crosses the Canal Saint Martin and evokes to perfection the picturesque, charming and romantic Paris of a bygone era. Kids love it because they can see the lock in action and watch the barges come and go. A must.

Fromagerie de Goncourt

Clément, who received his training in the Savoie region, crisscrosses France on his bicycle to find the best cheeses, cheesemakers and dairy producers. We can't think of a better way to do it! The result is a delectable selection of cheeses: mimolette that's been aged 24 months, Beaufort, Reblochon, farmstead tommes of cow's and sheep's milk cheeses... PLUS lovely decor, which doesn't hurt.

Medecine Douce

On the Rue de Marseille there's a super trendy spot (among many) with a lovely black facade that stands out from the surrounding designer fashion boutiques. This shop is all about the jewelry, but the location is ideal. Simple, very elegant and a little mysterious, the shop (which also houses a studio) is full of delights. The upscale, highly sophisticated and often minimalist designs of Marie Montaud have been must-have items in Paris for over 10 years. 10 Rue de Marseille, 75010 Paris +33 1 82 83 11 53

Pop Market

Insulated lunch bags, glittery barrettes, or cupcake-shaped shower caps... This boutique holds a treasure trove of gifts and accessories. You'll find all you need for a birthday celebration (crazy candles, crowns of flowers, animal masks, fancy tissue paper, etc.), quirky girly gadgets (like guitar-shaped nail files), very pretty jewelry, and lots more. It's all very enticing, and there's something for everyone.

Antoine et Lili

There is nothing quite like the large, colorful storefronts of the Antoine & Lili shops facing the Canal Saint Martin! Charming, cheerful, ethnic and exotic! Jewelry from faraway places, straw tote bags, metal cups enameled with floral designs, colorful dishes and rugs, paper lanterns... And don't miss the collection of nightlights by Egmont Toys. At night, it's illuminated by strings of lights. Dreamy.

Agnès b

The famous designer Agnès b needs no introduction, but it's always fun to browse around in her boutique on the Rue de Marseille. Bright and spacious, the space is a perfect reflection of her simple, functional and elegant designs. In this boutique, with its hardwood floors, huge windows and fine natural materials (like her clothes), the French star designer sells a very nice line of items for the home, including telephones, dishes, linens and stationery.
