DESIGN // FASHION // VINTAGE // ROMANTIC
The second you walk through the door, you want to give the decorator a huge hug. He did an incredible job! This is a stunning design room with a vintage flavor, thanks to the 50s-style coffee table, the floral upholstery on the sofa, and the bold black and white wallpaper. Tons of light from the two large windows opening onto the beautiful, pale stone facade of the Banque de France, and the Rue des Croix des Petits Champs (which is pretty busy). But when you see the "parasol" hanging lamp (beautiful, delicate, feminine!), you'll know this is where you need to be.
The blend of styles, equal parts rustic and refined, is flawless. And we love that.
The bathroom is atypical to put it mildly: a small shower on one side lit by tiny lights scattered among the tiles, the water closet on the other side, behind a frosted glass door and, between the two, a big, ultra-glamorous – and round – bathtub. There's no door between the bathroom and the bedroom, and the effect is pretty dramatic. Closet space at the back of the room, plus white waffle-weave bathrobes.
Nespresso machine, of course, and a bottle of wine sitting on the vanity.
The hotel is to die for too. The decor is cutting edge, a mix of funky vintage and high design. And it works splendidly!
This straight line runs through the HEART of the city. Walking its length, you'll travel through centuries of history. Traversed daily by Parisians, often in their cars, it is peppered with MUSEUMS and splendid MONUMENTS you just can't miss. Also gorgeous at night!
The local: the impeccable businessman.
