TRADITIONAL // SACRE COEUR VIEW // EIFFEL TOWER VIEW // FAMILY FRIENDLY

Great decor! In this suite, with the flavor of an old French manor house, the history of the place, founded by the very wealthy Lord Astor, simply oozes from the walls. The room is French perfection: crown molding on the ceiling, patterned carpet, and a classic contemporary sofa. The sitting area has a spectacular view of Montmartre, Sacré Coeur and the rooftops of Paris. The full balcony has a table and chairs, and a divine view of the capital. Perfect for a romantic breakfast overlooking the city. It's very quiet, since it's on a small, uncrowded street. Note that the sofas convert to beds if you need them.

In the bedroom, an immense bed with a canopy headboard. And the view from here is splendid too... From your window you can see the Eiffel Tower and the Grand Palais.  You know you've hit the jackpot when the elegant tapestries on the walls of your room were put there by Hermès...

The bathroom has a bathtub, two large sinks and two large mirrors. Gray marble and old-fashioned faucetry. A fresh touch: Durance toiletry products scented with mandarin orange and ginger.

View of Montmartre!

Tips from Parisians

Head to the bar!
How about a cocktail in a genuine American speakeasy atmosphere? The hotel bar is decorated in dark wood, the carpet has a leopard print, and the cocktails are old fashioned, just like JJ Astor IV liked them. Take, for example, the "Aviation," which was perfected in 1911, or the Floradora (gin, lime, tonic, lychee and cranberry), which was created in New York City in 1900. The armchairs are comfy, and the bar is open till midnight.
PORTRAIT OF THE CONCIERGE
What I can't live without in Paris: The monuments. My favorite? The Louvre, for its facades and extraordinary art collection, and the Jardin des Tuileries for its vistas and utterly Parisian ambiance.
Parisian women in 2 words: Chic, elegant.
Parisian men in 2 words: Complainers, stressed.
My favorite restaurant in Paris? Le Pré Catelan.
My favorite shop in Paris? Ladurée (the one on Rue Royale because it's the first, the iconic shop).
When I leave Paris I go to... the countryside in my home region of Burgundy.
The client I'd like to have? Mr. d'Ormesson, of the Académie Française.
My wildest dream? To have all my friends go on a cruise around the world with me (or, in other words, to win the lottery!).

Mythical
Paris

This straight line runs through the HEART of the city. Walking its length, you'll travel through centuries of history. Traversed daily by Parisians, often in their cars, it is peppered with MUSEUMS and splendid MONUMENTS you just can't miss. Also gorgeous at night!

The local: the impeccable businessman.
