CALM // TRANQUILITY // NEAR EIFFEL TOWER // GROUND FLOOR

After you cross the hotel's interior courtyard, where you can have a taste of tranquility with your breakfast in the sun, you arrive at the peaceful haven of your room.

There's nothing extravagant about this bright, simple and cozy room. Its best features are the quiet and the fact that it's a bit isolated. Some plants at the window - a superb sheet of glass with a black metal frame - add to the peaceful atmosphere. The room is functional with contemporary decor and a few original touches, like a Walter Knoll chair, a Flos lamp, and a designer armoire that goes perfectly with the rest.

In the bathroom, a marble bathtub and sink, plus a small window.

Calm and central!

Tips from Parisians

Bellota alert!
A favorite of the diplomats who work in this neighborhood, the restaurant-grocery Bellota-Bellota is right around the corner. Not to miss! You won't know where to look first. The place is small but bursting with charm and, above all, it has fabulous food. Hams hanging above the bar, menus hand-written on slates, and bottles of good Spanish wine. Eat in or take out, divine Bellota charcuterie.

The owner's secrets
What I like about my line of work is the diversity and meeting my guests: giving them tips about Paris, sharing my latest discoveries, discussing our cultures... Chatting with them in general ;-)
I also like taking care of the flowers in my pretty Paris courtyard and feeling like I'm in the Caribbean, like I do at home. Read the rest of the interview on the My Room In blog: besthotelroomsinparis.com

Panorama

Don't let the throngs of tourists and street vendors selling miniature Eiffel Towers stop you from enjoying the VIEW, or the exceptional MUSEUMS. Then you can go picnic by the old carousel on the Champs de Mars, not far from the EMBASSIES.

The local: traditional upper-crust families.
