What a view! The Eiffel Tower and the rooftops of Paris. Talk about a winning combo!  Add to that the delightful decor in the traditional style of old France: blue carpet with a classic design, lilacs covering the walls, a canopy headboard... It's a romantic blast from the past. You'll feel like you're in the Astor manor house! Pretend you're a viscount and have a cup of tea in the lobby, or lunch at the hotel's gourmet restaurant, which is presided over by chef Clavier, formerly with the restaurant of celebrity chef Robuchon.

Small bathroom with a bathtub and gray marble sink. Pamper yourself with Durance toiletry products scented with mandarin orange and ginger.

View of Montmartre!

Tips from Parisians

Shopping on the Rue Tronchet
Do you have a free afternoon? Feel like shopping? Not far from your hotel is the Rue Trochet with its very chic shops and their edgy window displays. A favorite of Parisian fashionistas! Designer clothes, kids' clothes, sweets and even divine lingerie in the beautiful Erès boutique. Not to miss! Extraordinary bathing suits (in a fabric that feels like a peach!) and ultra-sexy French lingerie too!
What I can't live without in Paris: The monuments. My favorite? The Louvre, for its facades and extraordinary art collection, and the Jardin des Tuileries for its vistas and utterly Parisian ambiance.
Parisian women in 2 words: Chic, elegant.
Parisian men in 2 words: Complainers, stressed.
My favorite restaurant in Paris? Le Pré Catelan.
My favorite shop in Paris? Ladurée (the one on Rue Royale because it's the first, the iconic shop).
When I leave Paris I go to... the countryside in my home region of Burgundy.
The client I'd like to have? Mr. d'Ormesson, of the Académie Française.
My wildest dream? To have all my friends go on a cruise around the world with me (or, in other words, to win the lottery!).

This straight line runs through the HEART of the city. Walking its length, you'll travel through centuries of history. Traversed daily by Parisians, often in their cars, it is peppered with MUSEUMS and splendid MONUMENTS you just can't miss. Also gorgeous at night!

The local: the impeccable businessman.
