SALON // ARTSY // DESIGNER // HIP // TOP FLOOR
This is wild. How did they make decor like this work? Just opened in November, this room is part artist's loft, part salon, like the one where Juliette Récamier once received her guests. The sofas do seem to invite conversation...
As you enter the room, you see surrealist photos that complement the pure lines of the decor. A raw wood and metal staircase leads to the upper floor, where the slate gray and zinc walls of the bedroom create a more intimate and intense atmosphere. The room is full of light thanks to its large window overlooking the gardens, and the windows in the slanted ceiling that bathe the bed in light. Raw wood floor. iMac. Not a detail overlooked.
Bathroom with large shower and water closet upstairs, full of light thanks to a skylight. Marvelous tiles on the wall.
Old Paris and its historic facades... Here, poets and INTELLECTUALS still change the world at the Café de Flore and La Sorbonne. Wend your way through the narrow medieval streets to NOTRE DAME.
The local: a university student in a duffle coat, philosophy book under his arm.
