DISCREET // CALM // EXOTIC // MODERN & VINTAGE

A wonderful big window overlooks a quiet little street in this very lively bohemian neighborhood! We fell hard for the parrot and exotic palm trees at the head of the bed, which gives the room an exotic chic effect. Super-stylish beige velvet bedspread, an open-plan bathroom with a large shower lined in gray tile, discreetly hidden behind a frosted-glass partition. Separate water closet with teal walls. Retro floor tiles, which we love! Two twin beds or a double, just let the hotel know.

The overall effect is chic, and the tropical touch works surprisingly well with the hardwood floor, molding and wrought iron at the window.

Vintage meets modern!

Tips from Parisians

SAaM
Hungry for a light Korean dinner just two steps from the Canal Saint-Martin? Welcome to Yoonsun! And "bun" appétit! We love the mismatched vintage chairs, the flowered cushions of the booths, and the lanterns on the ultra-trendy whitewashed walls. And of course, the delicious little sandwiches – on homemade bread – served with a side of crudités. Fresh mixed soft drinks served with lemon and mint. Yum!

The owner's secrets
In Paris, my favorite spots are Montmartre and the Place des Abbesses.
I find Parisian women to be nonchalant and chic. Parisian men are unshaven and grumpy.
My motto? Forgive quickly, love truly, laugh uncontrollably, and never regret anything that makes you smile.
My wildest dream? To open a luxury hotel up in the trees!

Bohemian
Paris

We adore this ultra-lively area with its ALTERNATIVE, and most of all genuine vibe. Funky shops abound, and a DIVERSE population of artists, designers and Chinese grocers…happily cohabit in the most up-and-coming neighborhood in Paris.
The local? Tatooed and carrying a vintage totebag.
