Did you say you were looking for a hotel room with charm? Well, you've found one! This room is proof that you can find a gorgeous place to stay with your family in Paris, and one with a view of a quaint courtyard too.

The four of you will be quite comfy here. Peek out the window and enjoy the cobblestone courtyard, the ivy twining around the bicycle racks, the Vespas waiting for a ride, birds singing, and the two tall trees with branches gently waving in the wind... We completely forgot we were in Paris for a moment! It's wonderful, calm, and very graceful.

The bedrooms are delicate and refined. In one of the rooms, Art Nouveau wallpaper is the backdrop for an original etching and crystal light fixtures. A shimmering headboard, immaculate bed linens, taffeta curtains and lilac sheers... All very soft, with the punchy touch of two velvet pillows in dark purple that go wonderfully with the ultra-stylish hanging lamp. You can separate the two beds if you're traveling with friends. The other room is every bit as chic and simple, with a trendy designer desk we just loved.

Bathroom with a shower, contemporary faucetry, Damana toiletries. Sweet tile mosaics on the wall. Gorgeous.

The countryside in Paris!

Tips from Parisians

The Old Hôpital St-Louis
If I were you, I'd put on my walking shoes and fill a backpack with snacks. Then I'd get on the metro at Cadet (Line 7) for 2 stops to Gare de Lyon. From there, I'd cross the Canal St Martin (at the picturesque Pont des Récollets!) till I got to the grounds of the Old Hôpital St-Louis... It's like being suddenly transported to an old monastery and another era... Plus it occupies 10,000m2 of space in the heart of Paris! Note that it's only open Sundays from April through the end of October.
